After church, we went to the most delicious restaurant in town. My favorite thing to order is the fried chicken biscuit, and Landon loved it too! In fact, I'm not sure I've seen him eat that much in one sitting! As we started to leave, a sweet older couple sitting near us stopped Philip and I and told us how beautiful our children were. They told us that they were both so well behaved (of course Owen just slept the whole time in his carseat haha!). This of course made our day and blessed us for sure! We are definitely working hard to teach Landon to behave, listen to directions, and be kind, so it sure felt good to hear such a nice compliment from a stranger.
After we ate, we went on a walk in the park behind the restaurant. Of course Landon loved looking at the water and kept saying, "more water, more water." I think that kid would be happy staying outside all day!
Sunday afternoon, we did get to see more water as we walked to the pond behind our house. The pond is just a short walk through the woods. We can't wait until the boys are a little older, so we can take them fishing on the pond or take them out in the kayaks. We are so blessed with our new home.
