Owen's First Real Smile!

Owen has been sleepy smiling since birth, but we have yet to see an awake, eyes open smile...until this morning!

We went to church on Saturday night, so this morning we were just taking it easy. Philip was making pancakes, Landon and I were playing with blocks, and Owen was sitting in his little farm chair. Philip was playing some George Strait (and sulking about him retiring this year), so I told him to play the song we danced to at our wedding (Cross My Heart). We all started dancing. First we all danced together, then I danced with Landon and Philip danced with Owen. Landon and I were twirling, and Philip was dancing with Owen in the kitchen. He held him up in the air and looked into his eyes. At that moment, Owen gave Philip a big gummy grin! His first real smile! Such a perfect moment as we all danced to these beautiful words...
