Fun With Friends

We have had lots of fun with friends over the past couple of weeks! In fact, this is one of the best things about maternity leave! Not that we don't have time for friends when I'm working, but we sure get to hang with them much more often!

Bundles of Joy
Last Monday, Lindsey, Elizabeth, and I went to eat and then took the babies to Bundles of Joy. We did this with our oldest kiddos too when they were newborns, so it is very special to share these moments with these ladies! Our sweet friend Natalie whose son is the same age as Landon is also expecting this summer. We can't wait for her sweet boy to join in the fun with Owen, Blakely, and Cade!

Eli's Birthday
After gymnastics with his buddy Tripp last Saturday, we went to Eli's third birthday party! He is the son of Jamie,one of my friends at school. The party was at 1,2, 3, Jump and was so much fun! Landon loved everything about the party, except when he fell backwards off the big boy bench and hit his head. He didn't cry for long though and was a good sport. Funny story about the party...there was a beautiful little girl at the party (who was maybe 15 months or so), and Landon fell head over heels in love with her! Haha! He kept hugging her and trying to put her arms around him to make her hug him back. Then he tried to kiss her on the cheek right before I intercepted and made him leave her alone. Haha! He's usually pretty loving to children, but never like that! How cute is that...baby love!

Dinner with the Seagraves
On Wednesday night, our neighbors came over. They have two adorable children. The kids had a blast playing together, and of course we enjoyed the adult company. For dinner, we made personal pizzas. I had the dough ready and all the toppings set out. Then the kids got to spread their tomato sauce and pick out their toppings. So much fun getting to help cook their food!

Friday Fun
This Friday, Landon's friend Joshua (and his mom Natalie) came over to play. We had hoped for Elizabeth and Lindsey to come over with their kiddos, but two of the babies were sick! We sure hope they get better quick! Landon and Joshua had a blast playing together! They loved the walk we took in the woods to see the water and swinging in the backyard!
