We spent the night at my parents' house with Emily and Hunter. We all woke up and watched the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade! (One of my FAVORITE things to do on Thanksgiving!) Then Michelle, Trent, and Austin came over, and we all had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner! After dinner, Emily and Mom took the kids to the park. Then everyone was so tired we all took naps! Including Popsy who got sick!:( Good thing he still had enough energy to make his delicious turkey!
In the afternoon we headed over to Philip's Aunt Patsy's farm! It is absolutely gorgeous! Granny was home from the hospital and able to come which meant so much! Sharon and Charlie came down, and Uncle Chris and Craig. The kids had a blast on the tire swing and jumping on the trampoline. Landon found a tractor and rode it all night long! We stuffed ourselves again with a yummy dinner and then headed over to Barbara's house!
Barbara watched Owen, Philip and Landon went to hang out with Mr. Melvin, and I went to Toys R Us for a little black Friday shopping. Philip and Landon were so happy to get to see Mr. Melvin on Thanksgiving and spend time talking and laughing with him!
We are very blessed for sure, and so very thankful for all the love and joy we have in our lives!
