NAGC in Indianapolis

Last weekend I went to the National Association for Gifted Children conference in Indiana. I had two presentations which went very well! I enjoyed the beautiful city, interesting conversations, and new connections. I love going to conferences, because it gives me three days to just focus on my craft and learning to be a better teacher! Even got to meet John Green, New York Times Best Seller, who wrote The Fault in Our Stars. I bought the book on Saturday to read on the airplane home and loved the book so much that I finished it by Sunday afternoon!

I missed my boys so much on my weekend away!! Philip did great, which of course was really no  surprise! Sharon did end up coming over to help Philip on Friday because he had to go out of town for a football game, and she stayed until Saturday afternoon! She is too sweet and of course helped Philip with all the laundry and stuff so I'd come home to a clean house! I am truly blessed!
