Owen is 9 months old!!

Wow!! 9 months old!! Owen Preston is growing too fast for Mommy and Daddy!!

He had lots of changes this month and is really becoming so much fun!! Owen is an expert at crawling and pulling up! He has started to walk along things, and sometimes crawls off his knees like he is trying to stand up.

At his 9 month appointment, he weighed 19 lbs. 2 oz. which put him in the 20th% for weight. He was also in the 20th% for height and head circumference. And the doctor commented on his bruises on his forehead and said, "I see he is advanced for 9 months. He must be pulling up a lot? The bruising patterns on his head are more typical of an older baby." Haha!

Owen got his two top teeth this month, so now he has four teeth altogether! Even though he has been teething, he's still been a very happy baby! Our Owie bug is so laid back and just goes with the flow! Except sometimes he really wants his mommy and is not happy if anyone tries to take him away! (I don't mind that though! I love having a mama's boy! :) )

Owen is still sleeping through the night pretty well. And he loves his room!! He usually goes down around 8 or so and typically sleeps until about 5 am. I nurse him and then he falls back asleep until 6 or so to get ready for school. Now his brother is another story! He usually wakes up every night crying around 2 or so!

He moved up to a new class because he was too mobile for classroom A at his school. He seems to love his new class. They get to go outside and have a cool baby obstacle course for him to climb on. He has really sweet teachers who just love him and his sweet self!!

Owen loves to eat just about anything!! He still nurses 3 times a day and drinks two bottles at schools with 2/3 milk and 1/3 formula. He eats baby food/small or soft table foods 3 times a day and LOVES yogurt bites for a snack!

He still only says, "Dada" really clearly, but he can clap and wave hello and goodbye! He also puts phones up to his ear, and I swear says something that sounds like, "hello!" It is so cute!!

Owen loves being outside and exploring! He loves to go places and of course still loves to watch his big brother! They are the best of friends! Probably one of his favorite things to do is swing! He has the cutest, happiest laugh when he's swinging back and forth!!! He also loves taking a bath with his big brother and snuggling with him early in the morning while Mommy and Daddy get ready for school!

Happy 9 months sweet Owie bug! We sure do love you!
