A Very Planes Saturday

Friday night, I had a wonderful night with my sweet Brookshire Babes talking until the wee hours of the morning. During one of our conversations, Marisa mentioned that she had to go into work the next day to run the Lowes Build and Grow. She said kids could build Dusty from Pixar's new movie Planes.

Philip was out of town for a school leadership retreat doing crazy mud obstacle courses, so I decided to take the boys. It was awesome, and the boys loved working on Dusty. Landon was great at trying to use the hammer and putting the stickers on his plane. He carried his plane around with him all day and even insisted on sleeping with him Saturday night!!

When Philip got home, we spent some time with Casey and his friends, and then took the boys to see Planes at our new theater. It was pretty good, and we had a blast at the movies as a family!!
