He is such a loving and sweet little boy! He is happy most of the time and still pretty laid back. He just melts your heart with his big smile!
This past month he had a couple of fussy weeks because he got his first teeth on the bottom (which are just too cute!). Poor baby also got bronchiolitis this week! He has breathing treatments which will hopefully help him to get well quickly!
Although we think Owen is a chunky monkey--he's got the cutest round face and chunky thighs! He's actually only in the 38th percentile for his weight at 17lbs!
Owen has started moving a lot. He can roll and scoot to get where he wants to go!No crawling yet, but I'm curious if he'll figure that out in the next month or two! He can push himself up pretty far! He is very close to being able to sit up by himself. He can stay up for about 30 seconds or so. You just have to keep an eye on him so he doesn't topple over!
Owen has gotten very chattery the past couple weeks! He has been talking up a storm making all kinds of noises! No actual words yet, just lots of sounds.
He tried his first baby food this week. We tried sweet peas and green beans. He hated both of them and gagged lots of times. He actually threw up the sweet peas! Hopefully he'll get used to them soon!!
Owen still loves his brother and his teachers at school. He loves to go to events with his Daddy and watch the action. And of course he loves to snuggle and play with his Mommy!
Can't believe Owen has been in our lives for six months! It feels like he was born just yesterday and forever ago at the same time!
