When Daddy's Away... Lan and Mommy will play!

Philip went out of town for a golf trip this weekend, so Landon and I had to keep ourselves very busy! We hate when he's away, but we had a fun weekend with our friends!

Mommy and Landon dressed up for Cow Appreciation Day on Friday!

Fun with his buddy Tripp!

Crystal, Tripp, Landon, and Me! Doesn't Crystal look awesome! She got to order whatever she wanted for free! She had the cow suit from a sorority function in college. Who knew it would come in handy for free food each year! :)

Yum! Yum! We love Chick Fil A

I made our little shirts in about 10 minutes during Landon's nap using old shirts we never wore. Haha!

On Saturday, we went to the Sandy Creek beach with our friends Joshua and Natalie. Lindsay Ann and Tucker joined us later too!

He loved the lake water! It was shallow enough for him to walk around in and play!

Sweet friends!

We stayed for four hours since the weather was so beautiful and the beach was so much fun! Lman was exhausted!

Saturday night we went to the movies to see Brave. We hadn't been to the movies since he was about 8 or 9 months old, and I was curious how he would do. He actually loved the movie and did good staying in my lap. The problem was he was trying to talk to the movie, and I could not get him to stop talking. We made it a little over an hour. Now I want to see the rest of the movie!!

On Sunday we went to church and did some painting while we waited for Daddy to get home.

He really did so good with the fingerpainting. It was really cute to watch. I have a great video, but I"ll have to upload it when we get a better Internet connection at the house.

The finished product! Beautiful!

I had planned on pulling out the pool for clean up, but Landon thought of the idea himself. He walked over to the pool (which was filled with rain water) and started washing off his hands. Then he climbed in! :) I dumped it out and filled it with fresh water, and he had a nice little swim! No mess and loads of fun!

Daddy's Home!!! Look at the smile on that little face! So sweet!
