Saying Goodbye to Summer

We had a great last week of summer! We squeezed in as much fun as we could Monday-Thursday, and then I had to go back to work on Friday. Aunt Sharon watched Landon on Friday while Philip and I were at work, and he had a blast! Then Lolo came up for the weekend! Loads of fun!

Monday

I made an artwork display for the dining room! It should be easy to change out the pictures with the clips! And...I came up with the idea myself! My friend, Denise, said I should put it on pinterest, but I don't know how...

Landon's Lion from last year... When Landon first saw the display, he looked up with a big smile! I think he and Owen will be so proud to see us display their artwork in such a special place! 

22 week belly!

Side View...Different outfits make the belly look different sizes... The outfit I had on Friday made the belly look huge!

Lanny Manny at the ENT. He had some fluid in his ears, but did not have an ear infection at the time. His hearing was also good. The doctor said that based on the seven ear infections L has had since January, he would support a decision to get tubes. Now PB and I just have to decide for sure that this is what we want to do.

Tuesday

Landon and his future wife Jessamine (we hope!) :) We had a great time hanging out with the Crowders!

Philip and I took Emily and Hunter out to dinner at Porterhouse as thanks for Hunter selling several of our things on Ebay. Basically we paid for dinner with our profits. Ha!

Friday

After training teachers new to JJH on SEM, Abby and I got our classroom ready to go for the 2012-2013 school year!

The Creation Station-- Heaven for our little creative geniuses! Organized and labeled art supplies and materials!

We love this new brainstorming area/ work station! And can't wait to get some animals for our science area!

The computer hub--ready for some researching!

Have an idea for a theatrical piece? The Imagination Station- Complete with puppet stage, puppets, costumes, and hats!

The cleaned and organized reading area-- just waiting for a new rug! (Had to throw away the rug from last year. I'd had it since I began teaching and it was DIRTY!

Landon had such a wonderful time at Aunt Sharon's house while Philip and I were at work! I loved this video of him helping fill up the watering can and drinking from the water hose!

Saturday
Lolo came into town for the weekend! We had a blast playing all day and then went to dinner at Hilltop Grille!
