The boys had lots of Easter fun this week! Landon had an egg hunt at school and loved hunting eggs with all his friends! I tried to make it after work, but I missed the hunt and party! Luckily some of my sweet Mommy friends sent me pictures!
I decided to make a quick trip to Valdosta to take the boys to an egg hunt at Michelle's house. Philip stayed to get some solid work time on his chapter 5 and he had a meeting. We had such a great time, so it was definitely worth the drive with the little boys!
We spent Friday night with BB and had a blast! We played, and she and Landon decorated eggs. The Easter bunny also hid some eggs in her backyard, and Landon got to hunt! He was actually more interested in playing outside and watching for trains than finding the eggs! But he had so much fun either way!
Saturday morning we headed to Michelle's for the egg hunt. It was wonderful! We were able to see lots of friends we hadn't seen in a while and of course my family! The Easter bunny also made an appearance! Landon LOVED the bunny...from afar!! But HATED the bunny up close! Chelle, Rylin, and Curry threw such a great party!
After the hunt, we stayed at Trent and Michelle's house and Landon and Austin played outside for several hours. It was absolutely beautiful weather and really nice to spend some time with my family.
The boys and I left Saturday late afternoon so we could be home with Philip for Easter! We missed Daddy and he missed us (although I'm pretty sure he enjoyed his full night of sleep!!)
We woke up Sunday morning and were excited for the boys to see what the Easter Bunny had brought them! Landon was funny and kept saying, "Easter Bunny went home!" He also kept bringing his snacks to the door as if to feed the bunny.
We went to church, Philip cooked us lunch, we all cleaned up the house, then spent the afternoon sitting on the porch watching basketball and laughing at crazy Landon!
Such a lovely Easter Sunday! We are very thankful for this beautiful weekend, for Jesus' sacrifice, and that he is risen!
