Philip actually had two acts! The first act he did was a stand up comedy routine. He did a roast of teachers and administrators at his school.
Then, Philip and I performed the parent rap with our friends Crystal, Rob, Lauren, and Tim. Rob and Tim teach at NOHS, and Crystal coaches cheerleading at the school. The rap was hilarious! All the guys wore baby bjorns and carried the little ones (Owen, Tanner, and a stuffed Elmo), and Tripp and Landon jumped around in a pack and play we had on stage, then ran and danced around when we let them out. Both little boys loved the stage and were not at all afraid of being up there in front of a lot of people!!
I'm attaching part of the video here, but it is only the beginning part with Philip and my rapping part! It's a little hard to see because Emily filmed it with her iphone...but at least you get the idea!
I'm sure after watching the video, you are not at all surprised that we won FIRST PLACE! Haha! Philip also won the "People's Choice Award" for his stand-up comedy!
Such a fun event!! Maybe we'll all quit teaching and take our rap show on the road...or maybe not!
Michelle, Emily, and BB were able to attend the Teacher Talent Show too!!
