Landon is 2!!

I can't believe that my sweet little Landon is 2 years old! He turned 2 on April 8th, but things have been so super busy, I have gotten behind on blogging this past week! I was able to take Landon's birthday off, so he, Owen and I enjoyed the day together. We mostly just played at home, but after naps, we went up to Landon's school and I brought cupcakes for his class. One sweet thing that happened on his birthday, was I let him and Owen take a nap in my bed. In his sleep, he reached over and grabbed Owen's hand and held it for a while. It was so beautiful! I am such a blessed mother!

On the evening of Landon's birthday, Philip grilled and Emily and Hunter came over for dinner, cake, and playtime! We had a wonderful time playing outside and bouncing in Landon's new bounce house he got for his birthday! He loves having his very own "jumpy place!"

Favorite Food: Rice, Chicken (Bock, Bock), Grits, Soup, Daddy's Cereal (Lucky Charms)

Favorite Snacks: Goldfish, Cutie Oranges, Cookies

Favorite Drink: Chocolate Milk

Favorite Movies: Monsters Inc., Cars, Toy Story

Favorite TV Shows: Sesame Street, Mickey Mouse Club House

Favorite Songs: ABCs, Wheels on the Bus, Old McDonald

Favorite Books: Goodnight Dawgs, We're Very Good Friends My Brother and I, Books with trains, Sesame Street Characters, Monsters inc., etc.

Favorite Toys: Golf clubs, broom, basketball goal (shoot),

Fears: Dress up characters, Monsters in his closet, and when the air is going out of the jumpy place

Sneaky Side: Landon usually gets in trouble for not listening/following directions, climbing something he's not supposed to, being too rough with Owen, or throwing toys out of the bathtub. When he gets in trouble he has to sit on the red rug in the kitchen for 2 minutes for alone time.

Loves: Landon loves to snuggle with Mommy, sing and dance to toddler radio on Pandora, and "wrestle" with daddy. He is an active little boy and so much fun! He is very curious and loves to explore!

Talking: Landon can say 3-4 word sentences. He can pretty easily express what he wants with a couple of words. He is beginning to remember things that you tell him and ask about it or mention it later.

Special Talent: Landon is very athletic and has a great deal of upper body strength. He can hold himself up on the bars at gymnastics and touch his toes to the bar. He can climb extremely well!  He can also turn somersaults.
