Celebrating the Marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Chamblee

Last weekend Philip's cousin Heather got married to Blake! And what a wonderful wedding it was! We had such a great time spending the whole weekend with family in Atlanta.

Barbara came up on Thursday night and went ahead and took Landon to Atlanta on Friday, so Philip and I could quickly head over after work. We had the rehearsal dinner on Friday night, and Landon looked so cute wearing his first tie! Heather and all the family looked beautiful, and everyone was so happy to be there to celebrate Heather and Blake's wedding! Landon loved the food and slide show! I of course LOVED the huge dessert table!! Landon was pretty good, but I took him outside when everyone was doing all the talking so he wouldn't disturb anyone.

So cute in his sock monkey tie! His shirt started off tucked in...but became untucked throughout the evening.

Yummy food at the Rehearsal dinner!

Our hotel was in such a great location, close to the wedding festivities and right by the North Point Mall. Thanks BB! On Saturday we went to the mall with BB and had a blast at Pottery Barn Kids. We also got to randomly see our friends Layla and Raquel who were at the mall for the day! Landon got to ride the train and the carousel, which he LOVED!! Then we spent the afternoon relaxing in the hotel, watching football, and doing school work while we waited for the wedding.

Love this picture! Landon and BB had so much fun on the carousel!

Such fun with these two sweet girls!

The wedding was gorgeous. It was at a charming, historical home. The house had a wrap around porch and beautiful gardens. Everyone looked wonderful dressed in their wedding attire, especially the beautiful bride, Heather. When Landon saw her walking down the aisle, he got so excited about her beautiful dress he started clapping! I had to quiet him down so as not to ruin Heather's moment. Landon looked handsome too in his wedding outfit bought by his Aunt Sharon. She put a lot of thought and love into his outfit from his blue Tommy Hilfiger sportscoat, down to his Kenneth Cole shoes!

After the wedding, we all had a blast at the reception! The food was great, the cake and decorations were gorgeous, the candy table was... actually do I even need to describe the wonderfulness of this?..., and the dancing was so much fun! Landon loved being carried around by his BB, Aunt Sharon, Uncle Charlie, and Uncle Chris, and he loved dancing with them even more! Although the events lasted until almost 11, he DID NOT want to go to sleep! He would dance with everyone and just lay his head on their shoulder, but would not fall asleep! Luckily on Sunday he and Philip slept until almost 9:30.
