Owen is 2!!!

Our little Owen Preston is 2 years old! What a wonderful gift he is to our family! He is spunky and creative! He is loving and strong willed! He is the best snuggler and can cling so tight to you that you don't even have to hold him up!

He thinks of so many clever ideas like when he turned the pringles can into a tee for kicking his football and coloring and drawing on EVERYTHING! Seriously if you give him a pen or a marker (crayons don't cut it!) he will sit there and color for HOURS!



Our Owie bug wants to help us so much with cleaning, bringing us things, putting things away. He will put his clothes in the hamper, throw diapers away, and LOVES to vacuum and spray! Note to self...do not try to clean the counters real quick when he's around!

He can speak full sentences, but he is really shy outside of the house so unless you spend a long time with him you may think he doesn't talk at all! For example, the other morning he came up to me with one of my pony tail holders and asked, "You need this Mommy?"

He hasn't had much interest in potty training, until the past few weeks, so we may try over Christmas break. We'll see... :)

He is happy go lucky most of the time and always smiling and laughing! However when he doesn't want to do something, he is a stubborn boy! Although being stubborn sometimes is actually a useful trait...especially when you have a big brother! :)

He loves to play with cooking toys, cleaning toys, coloring things, his train table, and little cars or ride on toys. He really LOVES sports! Any sport at all! His favorite show is Mickey Mouse, but he also knows the characters from Jake and Sesame Street. His favorite book that he always asks to read is Pete the Cat. He has a puppy at school that he loves to snuggle with at nap time, and he and Landon both love their matching puppy dog blankets.

He LOVES his brother probably the most out of anyone! They have a blast playing together and rarely want to be apart! Nothing like having a best friend 24/7! He is going to be the sweetest big brother to Lincoln and already kisses on my stomach and rubs it!

We sure love our Owen Preston! Life would not be the same without him!!
