Last week we went to Walt Disney World. We drove down on Sunday morning and made it to Downtown Disney by lunchtime. We had a blast eating at the Rainforest Cafe', visiting the shops, and enjoying icecream at Ghiradelli!! We had a laid back night and just snuggled and watched tv in the hotel room so we could rest up for Magic Kingdom the next day!
** The boys just have on white tshirts because when we got there it was so hot and humid! It was our only option other than pulling out all the suitcases! ;)
On Monday we went to the Magic Kingdom. We left pretty early so we could be at the park right when it opened. The morning was our best time, and we were able to ride so many rides without any waits. The boys also loved watching the parade around main street and dancing to the music. We left the park around noon and headed back to the hotel for naps for all!
26 weeks pregnant with Lincoln and ready for Disney! :)
(The Little Mermaid is Philip's favorite ride! ) :)
After naps we headed back to the park for some late afternoon/evening fun. We were able to ride a few more rides. We also tried to go see the Frozen castle lighting show, but it turned out to be AWFUL! Super crowded and the boys couldn't even see. We lost Philip and people were pushing us all over the place! We definitely learned NOT to go to anything with "Frozen", "Anna", or "Elsa" in the title! :) After the crazy Frozen experience, we rode a few more rides and watched a bit of the parade. By then it was a little past 9, and we were worn out and ready to head back to the hotel for a good night's sleep. It was such a wonderful day together! We all just love the magic of Disney!!
The boys loved watching the rafts go down SPLASH mountain!
Landon took this picture of us!
Philip holding both boys up so they could see the parade!
Philip took this picture of the boys and me on the monorail ride home without me realizing it. Both boys were tired and wanted to sit in my lap on the crowded train. I love that the picture shows the craziness of having these two little boys but also shows the love we all feel towards each other even in the crazy moments!
The next day we woke up to this...
The forecast called for over 80% chance of rain ALL day. Although we had considered going to another park, we knew that would not be a good idea with a rainy day. So instead we did all kinds of fun things around our hotel in Orlando. We went to Bass Pro Shops and Dave and Busters in the morning. Then after naps back at the hotel, we went to the movies! The little boys and I went to see Big Hero 6, and I was a nice wifey and let Philip go see Dumb and Dumber 2 (which happened to be on at the same time and in the theater right next door! The boys loved the movie and both sat still through the entire thing! It turned out to be a really fun day together!
