Landon and Tripp's Toy Story Birthday Party at Pump it Up

Tripp and Landon have been best friends since birth! Since their birthdays are only 4 days apart, we decided to have their birthday party together this year at our local Pump It Up.

We went with a Toy Story theme, and incorporated some of the theme details into the invites, their shirts, the party decor, and treat bags! I still could NOT resist and did a little bit of toy story decor, although they wouldn't let you hang anything! I found some free printables on Over the Big Moon blog, which was pretty awesome and painted the letters myself!

The kids had so much fun jumping and sliding on all the inflatables! I love looking at the pictures of the kids (and adults) because of the huge smiles on their faces! I loved how simple it was to have a party at a location ...Less planning beforehand and a quick, easy clean up!! Most important though, the kids had a BLAST!!!

We suggested that people not bring presents because we thought that would be tricky if people didn't know Tripp AND Landon and didn't want people to feel obligated. However, Landon got several presents anyways, and had a blast opening them when we got home.

After we got home from the party, Barbara and Sharon asked if they could take the boys back to Sharon's house to spend the night. The boys had a great time, and Philip and I went on a date to dinner and a movie! Much needed after our busy sick week and being apart for a week! On Sunday, we reflected on Jesus' sacrifice and Palm Sunday (I am trying to find the best way to explain this to a 3 year old) and spent some much needed time working on grading and organizing our house and yard! The boys had fun playing outside and using their new table from BB!

(The precious thing about these pictures, other than the boys being in their underwear (haha!), is notice that I put their plates sitting across from each other at the table. It doesn't matter what I do, they always want to be together. Be still my heart...)
