Philip and I have loved Jack Johnson since we were first married. The spring break after we got married, Philip found tickets to Hawaii for just $300!! We jumped on the deal and experienced our first taste of heaven! We fell in love with Hawaii and have dreamed about moving there since. We were able to take another trip to Hawaii for our Fifth wedding anniversary where we stayed for two weeks exploring the Big Island and plotting our escape to the most beautiful place on earth. 

Through all of the trips to Hawaii and all of our dreaming about running away to the islands together, the music in the background to all of our dreams is Jack Johnson.

Last week, Philip surprised me with tickets to see Jack at the Fox in Atlanta. KK and Casey watched the boys for us, and we so enjoyed the evening just the two of us! We began our night at the Melting Pot which was one of our favorite restaurants when we were dating in high school. We felt like kids again snuggled up in the booth making fondue!

After dinner, we walked right down the street to the Fox, and I was even more surprised to realize that our tickets were on the SIXTH row! We were on top of the world, dancing and singing along to Jack, just a few yards away!! The whole time I just reminisced on the sweet memories from the past with my soul mate and dreamed about possibilities for the future!

The night couldn't have been any more wonderful to spend with the love of my life! And one day, when we really escape and move away to Hawaii, I can assure you we'll still be listening to Jack as we sit on our lanai and watch the sunset!
