Well, it turned out to be quite hot which we thought was going to cause us to have to go home. We took the boys to the shade for a little break and snack during the first quarter, and I ended up sitting with them in a little shaded area and near a fan for about 30 minutes. I brought them back thinking, "okay, we'll try again and if it doesn't work we'll go home." Luckily a huge cloud covered the sun and cooled things off for our section for the rest of the game. The boys cheered on the DAWGS for a while, each napped for a while, and snacked on fruit squeezies and crackers I had snuck into the game. They loved doing all the "Go DAWGS" cheers (even Owen!) and shaking their pom poms! The people around us commented on how animated and sweet they were!
We may not bring them back for a few years...wait...who am I kidding? You know us crazies...I'm sure we'll bring them back next season! Now Owen is 0-1, and we've got to improve his record!
Although we got home pretty worn out, and all fell asleep by 8, we had a great family day cheering on our Dawgs!
