It all started on Friday night when we went to the football game at NOHS! The boys loved having their cousin at the game to play with! I think Austin really liked the game too!! Playing football on the sidelines, watching the band, and playing with the balloons!!!
On Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch. Our friend Anna from Valdosta was up visiting her sister in Atlanta, so she and her family drove over to meet us. It was so nice to see her and her precious kiddos! We picked our pumpkins and then rode the hayride to all the fall activities. The little boys played and played to their hearts' content. Corn maze, cow train, jumping pillow....the boys loved it ALL!! We played there for hours!!!
That night, Philip went with his mom and Sharon to a Rod Stewart concert. His mom and Sharon love Rod Stewart, and Philip was excited to spend the evening with them. He said they all had a blast!
While Philip was at the concert, we carved pumpkins with the little boys. It was a cool night, so we lit a fire on the screened porch and carved out there. The boys loved getting the goop out of the pumpkin! We made quite a mess, but the fun we had made it worth it! Our night ended with a cousin movie night on a pallet in the living room!!
Sunday we just didn't want to say goodbye to Chelle and Austin so we drove to the mountains with them. We ended up going to an apple orchard in Elijay that we used to go to as kids. It was pretty crowded at first, so parts of the afternoon were a little stressful with 3 little boys, but the crowds eventually calmed down and we were able to play at the apple place and enjoy some fresh apple doughnuts. Really, we just loved being with Aunt Chelle and Austin, so we would have been happy anywhere, anytime, doing anything with them!!!
We are so glad they came to visit and so happy they spent their Fall break with us!!!
