My dad, Charles (a.k.a Popsy), is a fun-loving, caring, and hardworking man! He gives so much to his family, friends, and career. He loves a good adventure, especially when it involves one of his favorite girls, grandsons, or son-in-laws!

Philip's dad, Melvin (a.k.a Grandaddy), is sweet, kind, and giving. He is a great listener and is always such a good sounding board for Philip. He loves to be outside and is an expert at fixing things! He loves spending time with his grandsons!

And of course I must talk about my sweet husband and father to our two little boys! He loves those little boys with all his heart and tries to be a good example to them! He plays with them, teaches them, dances with them, snuggles them tight, and tells them he loves them everyday, all while writing a dissertation and being a high school principal! He really is amazing, and I'm so thankful for the Daddy he is to the boys and husband he is to me!

Mr. Melvin came up earlier in the week to visit and we were able to celebrate Father's Day. We had a wonderful time, and he and Philip fixed lots of things that needed fixing around the house. We took him and Casey to dinner at Olive Garden and spent lots of time hanging around.
On Sunday we had a very low-key day! Both the boys got sick on Saturday! Owen's bronchiolitis came back and Landon got strep throat! So, Philip and I did lots of snuggling with the babies. We did get a little stir crazy by Sunday evening, so we drove down to the golf course and played a few holes (Well, Landon and Philip played a few holes...Owen and I hung out in the golf cart!) Philip said it was the perfect day!
Philip got awesome presents for Father's Day if I do say so myself! :) He got a brand-new John Deere riding lawnmower which will be delivered tomorrow!! We also got him some golfing things for the backyard. Landon was so excited about the presents that he told Philip what they were and insisted that he open them last Friday! Haha!!
