A Treasured Life

In early December, Philip's precious grandmother passed away. We all loved her so much, and it was really hard to say goodbye. Granny was such an amazing person. Kind and funny, Spunky and thoughtful.

We had so many people tell us at her wake that she was all their favorite substitute when she was at Echols. They would always put her in the classes that no other teacher could handle! Philip talked about how much he cherished that time with her when he worked in Echols.

I was so glad that Landon and Owen had the opportunity to experience Granny's love. They loved the weekends going down to her house to hunt for frogs and ride the gator! Landon has prayed for her every night since she went into the hospital, and he still prays for her today in heaven.

Everyone loved Granny! Especially her children! She was taken care of to the very end with grace, dignity, and selfless love by her children. Beautiful care for a beautiful soul.

We will love our Granny forever and always cherish the memories we have. Here are just a few of my favorite pictures of us with Granny at her house.
