Philip was chosen as an Emerging Leader for PDK, an international education organization! As part of the award, we received a trip to DC where he was able to meet the other award winners, tour the Dept of Education, and listen to numerous speakers. There was a welcome reception the first night and a dinner the second night with a moonlight trolley tour of DC. We then spent an extra day in DC exploring the city. We visited a couple Smithsonians, the National Archives, and enjoyed watching A Christmas Carol at Ford's Theater.
The boys were taken care of by an array of family! Emily and Hunter watched them the first night, and my parents came up on Friday to stay with them for the weekend. We missed the babies, but know they had a fabulous time getting loved on by family!! Philip and I sure are blessed with loving and supportive families who will help us with the boys so we can spend time just the two of us and keep our relationship strong! We had such a special time together!
I am still so envious you saw snow in the flesh! And, your shirt with the yellow heels- I love it! Looks like a wonderful and well deserved trip! :)
