Deck the Halls

Decorating is such a special part of the holidays in our family! I have happy memories of cutting down our family Christmas tree, then decorating together as a family while Christmas music played in the background! Of course we have found it important to continue this tradition with our own children. Last weekend after returning from our Thanksgiving with family, we headed to our favorite tree farm just a few miles from our home.

We didn't stay long, as Landon wasn't feeling great. However, we saw the animals for a few minutes, picked out the perfect tree for our family, and of course sat on Santa's lap. (Actually something neither of the boys were too sure about! Haha!)

Then we spent the remainder of the weekend snuggled up inside, with fires lit in every fireplace, decorating the house slowly, and watching Christmas movies! What a joyous time to celebrate the birth of Jesus and cherish moments with family.
