Owen is 10 Months Old!

10 months... How can that be?!? Owen Preston Brown is 10 months old and so much fun!! This month he has been on...the...move. He can crawl so FAST!! He can also stand up on surfaces and walk along them. Owen has also started climbing. Yikes!! He actually had a fall down about five steps after he snuck up the stairs one day before I realized he could climb! I raced him to the doctor worried, but he was just fine! :)

Owen loves to eat EVERYTHING!! He has so many teeth now (6) that we basically feed him any kind of table food just cut up in small pieces. I can't even think about what he loves the most, because he gobbles up any kind of food! In fact, he usually finishes his plate, and then eats the rest of his brother's plate! I love the squeezie baby foods for our "on the go" lifestyle!

He is babbling up a storm and can say, "Dada" and "Mama." He says a lot of things that sound like words both at home and at daycare, and sometimes crawls towards things saying words that sound a lot like the object. For example, the other day he crawled towards the ball saying, "ba!"

Owen was sick for about three weeks during this past month! We believe it was rotavirus, but all the tests came back negative. He is finally balancing back out after such a long tummy bug. He does not like to be told, "no!" and starts crying if you do so!! He also hates it if you are in the room with him and then walk away to another room. He will crawl after you just crying his little eyes out!

Owen and Landon have had the best time this month playing together. They really do share pretty well, but the great thing about Owen is that he already stands up for himself. If Landon tries to take a toy away from him, he will hold on for dear life!! He LoVES taking a bath and sitting on the floor of the shower. If you leave the shower door cracked at all, he will race into the shower (Not a good thing when he has on a diaper)!! Mostly though he just loves climbing on and chasing his brother and trying to do whatever he does!! He loves going out and about, is very well-behaved at restaurants or the grocery store, and enjoys sporting events or shows. He likes going on walks and riding in the red car in the evenings.

Owen is a sweet baby and already tries to share. If you are talking and playing with him, sometimes he'll take out his paci and try to put it in your mouth!! Haha! He is a snuggle bug and loves to cuddle with people, but ESPECIALLY Mommy right now!!
