Even though we are busy with working and back to school, we try to make time for family whenever we can! Even if it is 45 minutes between a meeting and a sporting event! The past couple of weekends, we have enjoyed trips to the park, family time walking around North Campus, going out to eat, and spending time at our house. Philip and Landon even went out in a kayak in the lake behind our house on Labor Day. Although we seriously wish we could be together all the time, I guess it's how you spend the time you do have together that matters the most!
This reminds me of a special story of something that happened last week. We were riding home, and Philip was telling me a story. When we got home, instead of getting out of the car, Philip finished the story. I guess I was leaned in close listening to what he was saying. All of a sudden from the back seat, we heard Landon exclaim, "Mommy, you love Daddy!" Not only was this super cute, but it made Philip and I both very happy to know that Landon sees the love we have for each other, and also for him and Owen.
