Jekyll Island Beach Trip Part 2

The second part of our beach trip began Philip's conference (the actual reason for our trip). Philip was back and forth at the conference center, while the boys and I hung out at the hotel. My parents came up Sunday around lunch, and we had a blast playing at the pool and the beach. Lolo loved snuggling Owen by the pool, and Popsy and Landon loved burying each other in the sand at the beach.

Sunday night, Philip met back up with us, and we went to eat at a fantastic restaurant on Jekyll. The weather was just beautiful, and we loved getting to sit outside. After dinner, we went to play putt putt across the street. We all know that Landon loves to play golf, and this putt putt place had a train, dinosaur, and even a Georgia Bulldawg! How much better could you get! We had so much fun, and Landon even got a real hole in one!!

The next day, Michelle and Austin joined us at the beach! What a treat! Landon and Austin had a BLAST splashing around in the water all day and Popsy and Lolo were in heaven too having all their grandbabies at the beach together! Monday night, Philip and I had to go to a work dinner, so Mom, Dad, and Michelle watched Landon for us. They went to dinner and to play putt-putt again! (It was just too much fun!) The conference had family fireworks, and Philip and I were set to make it back on time to join everyone for fireworks, but they started them early! :( We missed them by 10 minutes. I was so sad, but the boys loved them, so I guess that's all that matters!

My parents went home Monday night, so Tuesday we spent the day with Michelle and Austin. We took the boys to the sea turtle center and played at the pool. The boys love spending time together, and so did Michelle and I! Michelle and Austin left Tuesday afternoon, but Philip got out of his meetings a little early.

We spent family time at the beach and pool and even had a picnic! We ended our trip with delicious ice cream cones! Such a wonderful time spent with all my loves! Our family is truly blessed.
