Jekyll Island Beach Trip Part 1

Last week we got to enjoy a little fun in the sun! We traveled over to St. Simons and Jekyll Island on the beautiful Georgia coast. For the first part of our trip, BB joined us. We stayed our first night (Friday night) in St. Simons. She bought the boys some super cute outfits, and they were able to wear their matching overalls out to eat in St. Simons. After dinner, we enjoyed walking along the pier. Landon watched some people catch a baby nurse shark and even helped them throw the shark back into the water. He also found some trees that he just HAD to climb!

The next day, we woke up and drove over to Jekyll. We spent all day with BB at the pool and the beach! The boys were so happy to splash around in the sunshine with BB! They loved walking on the beach, and BB found a whole sand dollar! I found one too shortly after BB, but then Landon broke it.:(

Saturday evening we went to an awesome restaurant on the water called Marshside Restaurant. We ate on the deck and had a blast enjoying the breezes. Landon loved dancing with the other kids at the restaurant and exploring near our table. They had lots of knick knacks on the deck that he enjoyed looking at. Philip thought his food was the most delicious he had on the trip. I think he got some kind of scallops. We sure ate lots of good seafood on the trip!

We had a wonderful time on the first part of our trip and were so glad to get to spend some time with BB at the beach!
