Doing Nothing is Really Something!

This weekend we did pretty much nothing! On Saturday, I declared it pajama day! We stayed in our pajamas pretty much all day! We played, watched football, and Philip worked on his dissertation. Some more of Owen's furniture got delivered, so we worked on setting his room up too. Emily came over, and she and Landon had a blast playing with all the packaging from the furniture. They turned the sheets of styrofoam into karate chop blocks. Crazy kids!

Landon trying to put together puzzles in his PJs...tongue sticking out and all...he's thinking hard

Rolling on the styrofoam with Em

Karate chopping...note...we've moved on from the pjs to just a tshirt!

I really should have gotten a video of this!

All the pictures are blurry because he was running and chopping...with sound effects!

On Sunday, Landon and I decided to have a little craft time. I found a great blog on pinterest Saturday night with a ton of ideas of crafts and activities to do with little ones Landon's age.

We explored in the woods around our house for a while to find lots of different kinds of leaves and collected them in his little red car. Then we took them back to the house and put them on wax paper. I t ironed another sheet of wax paper over the leaves, and now we have the leaves hanging in the window. It was a really fun and easy project to do with Lman! He has enjoyed looking at his leaves hanging  in the window!

These two boys love exploring in the woods!

Pushing the leaves back to the house!

Checking out the leaves we collected!

Putting the leaves on the wax paper!

Then he dumped all the leaves off the waxed paper.

Putting the leaves back on again! :)

The finished product! Beautiful!
