Baby Prep Team

Last weekend Sharon and Barbara came over for the weekend to see Landon and help us continue to get things ready for Owen. Between the cleaning, shopping, and cooking by these two, we are really ready now! Seriously, these two women are like cleaning machines! After they got a hold of the house, I could probably not clean for two months, and you'd think the house was still spotless! Haha! I sure appreciated all their help!

On Friday night, we all went to the game to see NOHS beat their rival high school Oconee. We had a great time and stayed until half-time before it started getting chilly, and I was too exhausted to last any longer! Landon and I went straight to sleep, but Barbara and Sharon stayed up chatting and started randomly cleaning things. Sharon decided to clean our gas stove, and something messed up with the burners. It kept clicking and sounded like it was releasing gas into the house. Sharon was so worried and called the fire department. The best part is that the fire department had to leave Philip's football game to come to our house! Haha! Of course, I took Landon outside on the porch just in case gas was really getting into the house, but it turned out that everything was fine and the burners do that if they get wet. You just have to unplug the gas and wait for them to dry out. Sharon felt bad, but I thought it was really funny! I thought it made for an exciting night, and really couldn't complain considering she was cleaning my stove just to be nice. Who doesn't need a little adventure on a Friday night!

BB, Sharon, Landon, and Me...Landon is sticking his tongue out...usually it's when he's thinking or teething...but I'm not sure why he decided to stick his tongue out in this picture instead of smiling...

Landon on the field with Daddy

On Sunday afternoon, we rode over to Philip's school so he could do some work. He needed to take the Gator around to assess some things on the grounds, so Landon and I decided to go along for the ride! He loved riding on the Gator with Daddy and getting to see the cows.

Tromping Around in the Leaves

Although Owen has decided that despite what the doctors told us (and me being 4 cm dilated and getting random contractions), he is comfortable and just going to hang around in the belly for a while!
