First Swim of the Year

We had a busy but fun weekend! We did a good bit of cleaning up around the house and Philip wrote a lot, but the weekend was also mixed in with lots of fun with friends. I chatted and ate chocolate covered strawberries with my neighborhood girls after the boys went to bed on Friday, went to a precious baby shower on Saturday, and Landon and I went to listen to our neighborhood friend, Eli, sing in his Pre-K end of the year program today. Philip got to go to lots of baseball this weekend, as the Titans are in the playoffs! Of course we went to church this morning and had a nice morning drive with our Jittery Joes right after!

But it was a HOT weekend, so we decided that we needed to have some fun in the pool too...our first swim of the year!!! On Saturday afternoon while Philip was writing, Landon and I went to Auntie Em's to swim! Now remember...Emily is in college and lives at one of those awesome college apartment complexes. So it was full of college kids having a great time on Cinco De Mayo! Landon was very entertained by the crazy college kids!!

No fear...Landon fit in quite well at the pool with all the college kids! Look at one of the toys he brought to play with! Doesn't it look like a college student!

Today after cleaning out the garage we decided to set up the pool from Aunt Chelle in the backyard. Since Landon's bathing suit was still wet, we decided that he could swim naked. It was hilarious and he LOVED it! Don't worry...I lathered him down with tons of sunscreen!! :)

He is such a great helper while Mommy and Daddy are cleaning up the house! Can't you tell? 

After he pulled all the toilet paper and towels out of the cabinet, he figured out how to stack the toilet paper. He was so proud of himself! He started clapping and cheering! Silly boy! What on Earth will I do with two running around!?! :) I guess have a very messy house!
