Big News for the Brown Family

Landon's not "lion"! He's going to be a big brother!

Philip and I are so excited to announce that we are expecting a baby in November! My due date is November 27th!  He or she is healthy, has a strong heartbeat, and is measuring right on track!

We were pretty good at keeping our little one a secret this time! We wanted to tell our family in person, so we waited until almost 7 weeks to tell them when everyone was up for Landon's birthday! After the party when only our family remained, I went to "change Landon's diaper" but I really changed him into his big brother lion shirt. While I was gone, Philip told everyone that we wanted to get a group picture, so he gathered everyone into the living room. He then secretly filmed Landon coming in the room with his shirt on. The only problem was that Landon started crawling so no one could see his shirt. I finally had to hold him up. Denise saw what was happening and told me to jump in front of the photo booth so she could capture the excitement in pictures with the camera from the booth. Finally everyone could see Landon's shirt. They were SO surprised and excited! 

We are beyond thrilled and so happy that God has given us this wonderful gift! The babies will be about 19 months apart. What a perfect age difference for our children to grow up being best friends! Philip and I may end up going a little crazy with two under two, but we are so thankful for our two blessings and can't wait for the fun ahead!
