After lots of hoping and wishing, years of looking, and several failed attempts...we purchased a cabin! Philip and our realtor, John, found the cabin of our dreams in the North Georgia mountains! Not only is it beautifully placed up high on a mountain, but it was FULLY furnished! We are so excited for years of memories in this beautiful place! Here are pictures from our first visit in late December and early January after we bought the cabin!
Our first night in the cabin was actually quite an adventure! A terrible wind storm knocked out all of our power, and when the power came back on, there was a power surge which broke our heater and several TVs. We spent our first night all snuggled up, shivering, but were able to get everything fixed the very next day!

We spent New Year's Eve in the cabin! Emily, Hunter, Casey, and Cheetara came up to ring in the new year with us! We ate good food, got in the hot tub, had dance parties, played games, watched fireworks from the deck, and flew the drone! Such a blast!
