We had a wonderful time! The weather was beautiful, and visiting Ocracoke is like adventuring to another time. It all starts from the wonderful ferry ride over to the island. The boys loved riding on the boat, watching the water, and playing games that Emmy invented!
Once we got to Ocracoke, we had so much fun exploring the island, visiting the lighthouse, eating outside at the restaurants, walking along the pier, playing at the beach, and swimming at the pool! We stayed for Friday night and through the day Saturday, then took the ferry back. We were able to spend the night in Greenville and check out Em's new stomping grounds.
The best part of all was the family time and getting to see Emmy! We had so many laughs, hugs, and nice talks during the weekend! Just what we needed to rest and rejuvenate!
