Big News for the Brown Family!

We have some exciting news in the Brown family! We are expecting a new baby in March!

We decided to wait until 14 weeks before we made it social media official, and can you believe they could tell that it was a boy at 13 weeks?! In fact, I noticed it before the ultrasound tech! I said, "Ooh! I can tell right away it's a boy!  So we already know that we will be welcoming sweet little boy #3 to join our crew! How much fun will the Brown house be?!?

My pregnancy has been very smooth so far! I was a little nauseous and more tired than usual the first 13 weeks or so, but nothing too severe! I've been feeling much better these past few weeks! I've been craving plain baked potatoes, pizza, and things with high fructose corn syrup (gummies, air heads, skittles, and sour patch kids--so weird! I rarely eat these things usually!)

7 weeks!

9 weeks! (Excuse the exhausted face from a long day at school!)

14 weeks and really starting to show!

I took a shot like this when I was pregnant with Owen, so I had to do it for Lincoln too!

We ended up telling all of our family over the phone and through face time because we just couldn't wait to tell them in person, even though we tried! I think we told them around 7 weeks. Everyone was super excited!

We've actually had  three ultrasounds, so it's been fun to watch him grow so quickly over the past few weeks. It just so happened that my parents were in town for one of them, so they got to see our sweet little man, and Emily got to see one of the relatively early ones before she moved! Hopefully it will work out for the rest of the fam to get to see some other ones too like the 3D ultrasound and the 20 week! We definitely want to take the boys to a later one. Landon has been looking around our house for a "special camera" we can use to see the baby!

7 weeks 3 days

9 weeks

13 weeks 3 days

We are so happy about this addition to our family. We have decided to name him Lincoln Jacob. Philip has loved the name Lincoln for years (and I really like it too). His middle name, Jacob, is after one of Philip's beloved former students who recently passed away from cancer. So he is already a special boy with a special name even before he's born! We all can't wait to hold our little Linc and love him forever!
