What's Going Down with the Browns?: Owen's First Trip to Vtown

Casey graduated from Valdosta State! So we decided to load the boys up and head to Vtown! One would think we were a little crazy for traveling for four hours with a 20 month old and a 3 week old, but they actually did great! Even with a jam packed weekend visiting family and friends!

On the way down, we stopped to have dinner with Clay in Macon. We had a great time with him at Texas Roadhouse and the boys enjoyed a visit to Dick's Sporting Goods.

Friday night, we stayed with BB. Since Landon slept in the car the entire drive, he had so much fun staying up late with BB! Philip and I sure appreciated her staying up late with him and getting up early with him while we caught up on a little sleep.

Saturday morning we got to watch Casey graduate. We were so proud! In fact, Philip called it the proudest moment of his career! We have watched Casey grow from a 15 year old high schooler to now a college graduate and future middle school teacher. He is an amazing young man, and will make a difference in the lives of so many children!

Saturday afternoon we stayed and played at BBs. Owen got to meet his Aunt Patsy while Philip and I were at the graduation. Also, Jake came over and met Owen for the first time too. The boys had a wonderful time playing and playing! Landon loved BBs tree, listening to the train, and playing with lots of toys!

Saturday evening, we went to my parents' house and enjoyed the Holiday in the Park celebration. They had a train, horse and carriage, and played a movie in the park. Santa was there too! After the celebration, we went back to my parents' house, and Austin and Landon had a BLAST playing together!

Sunday we went for a visit with Philip's Grandmother in Jasper and then his Granny in Statenville. We were so glad that Owen got to meet his great grandmothers. Landon was so happy to see his granddaddy and to get to spend some more time with his BB. Landon also got to play with his Aunt Cecilia and learn how to catch frogs! He loved it!
