Labor Day Weekend

Aunt Sharon had a furlough day on Friday, so she volunteered to keep Landon for a long weekend. Although we miss him terribly when he is gone, we had so much to do that we decided it would be best to have a weekend to get things done (schoolwise, around the house, and for Owen).

When Sharon came to pick up Lman on Thursday, we also had another special visitor! Tucker! Tucker's Mommy and Daddy had meetings/class, so we kept him for a few hours. He was an angel, and he and Landon loved playing together! Landon got a little jealous that Tucker was getting some of his Aunt Sharon and Mommy's attention, but he still tried to share his toys with him and feed him :). He decided that a lot of his baby toys were super fun and should be used again since Tucker was using them!

Friday night, Philip and I went on an Owen date. We ordered his baby furniture and went to dinner. We also registered at Target (per the request of some of our sweet friends). It was fun to think all about Owen since he will be here in 12 weeks or less!!

Owen's beautiful crib! We also ordered a dresser, and a double dresser with hutch. Delivery time is 6-12 weeks...let's hope for 6! :)

On Saturday, Philip and his friend Clay went to the UGA game and had awesome seats! They also got to enjoy the day at the Deals. Philip is still raving about Mrs. Susan's fried porkchops! I got a pedicure and went to Sharon's for the day (I was missing my baby too much). We hung around the house, did a little shopping, and ate a delicious dinner (also of porkchops) grilled by Uncle Charlie. It was WONDERFUL!

Today we went to church and have been working at home catching up on schoolwork (and me on some blogs).

Meanwhile at Sharon and Charlie's house, Landon (and Sharon) have been having the time of their lives! She has sent me so many great pictures throughout the weekend of him playing and having so much fun! We will get him later this evening...if Sharon will give him back....or if he even wants to come back...he sure loves visiting at his Aunt Sharon and Uncle Charlie's!
