Messy Eater

"It's not easy being neat, when I'm learning how to eat!"

Landon Brown is having so much fun learning how to eat! He is one messy boy! He's pretty good about eating most things, but really likes it if food is big enough for him to hold and bite. He thinks he's too big of a boy to eat tiny pieces!

Some of his favorite foods are: pizza, graham crackers, cheese, cheerios, grilled cheese sandwiches, and peanut butter and jelly. He also likes strawberries and watermelon! He's getting pretty good at using his sign language to say "more" if he's still hungry and "all done" when he's finished. We are working on "please" and "thank you"!

Landon has a new obsession with feeding himself using a spoon! He likes to take one of his little spoons, dip it in his food and then try to put it in his mouth.  This is a very messy task, but he's learning! He loves to share his food with his baby friends, but especially with his best canine friend! He has a bad habit of dropping food on the floor because he likes to give it to KJ, our dog! This is fine at the house b/c KJ loves to eat all the food he drops for him, but at restaurants... you can see the problem!

Then I try to get a close up so you can see the peanut butter and jelly in his hair and all over his face!)
