Spoiled!

This weekend was a busy weekend for the Brown family!

I was the kitchen coordinator for an overnight women's retreat at St. Joseph's Catholic Church called CRHP. I had so much fun organizing meals for the weekend and planning the decor! It was wonderful to serve the women during the weekend and spend special time with the Lord. My CRHP sisters and I worked for about a year and 1/2 to plan this retreat! I can't express in words how much I will miss the time spent with these amazing women that have become like sisters! God definitely brought many blessings to the participants and workers throughout the weekend. Mom and Emily were also a part of the retreat, so I enjoyed getting to spend special time with them! I am a very blessed girl!!

Speaking of blessings, my sweet friend LindsayAnn had her baby Saturday morning. Tucker John is perfect in every way! I am so happy for her and her awesome husband, Eric! You can visit LindsayAnn's blog here.

My dear Philip had a busy weekend with NOHS events: basketball games, a swim meet, and a Black Tie Dinner.  In between, he had to write...boy oh boy will we be glad when PB's dissertation is finished!

Because we wanted Philip to focus on his writing, BB (Philip's Mom) came up to visit. She and Landon went to stay with Aunt Sharon in Atlanta! Landon had the time of his life with two...make that four of his favorite women (+ his Uncle Charlie)! While he was there he got SPOILED and learned to say, "DADA!" Philip is incredibly proud! Especially because he will crawl towards him saying, "Dada Dada!"

Landon getting lots of attention from BB, Brittney, and Heather

Cheering on NOHS Friday Night!

Go Duke!

I swear I heard Landon say, "Mama" today as he crawled towards me, but maybe that was just wishful thinking! :) He is such a Mama's boy, but he just can't express it in words yet. :) Landon also pulled up for the first time yesterday in front of Philip, Mom, and me. He only did it once, but it was very exciting! Now we are really in trouble!
