Halloween Week

The Brown Family LOVES Halloween week! Philip told me he thinks it is my favorite holiday, but I think he is forgetting how obsessed I get with Christmas! I really just LOVE holidays and celebrating with the kiddos!! Athens has so many great free/cheap activities during Halloween week, so we just plan ahead to be busy, busy and soak up all the fun!

On Monday we went to a Halloween read-aloud at the mall! The read-aloud was done by one of the children's librarians, so of course it was entertaining! The kids also got free balloons, treats, AND a train ride! They were stoked!

Tuesday was one of my favorite activities at the Livestock Arena-- Halloween Havoc! They have a trunk or treat, petting zoo, pony rides, jumpy places, and agriculture learning stations. So much fun!

Wednesday we took the day off from Halloween activities afterschool--even though there were other free activities in town!

Thursday was our "Book Character" Parade at school, and Landon and I both enjoyed dressing up and walking in the parade!

On Thursday night the Hughes family came over from Atlanta to join us at Boo at the Zoo! It was so great to see them, and the kids really liked getting to trick-or-treat at the zoo!

Friday was my Fall break, so the boys and I slept in (until 7...!), and I took them to IHOP for "Scary Pancakes". Then they went to school while Mommy got a pedicure and got stuff done! Don't feel sorry for them though! They got to trick-or-treat at school and have Halloween parties!! Plus Ms. Sara let Owen and Landon stay together in her class all day! Talk about these two being in heaven!! Then Friday night BB came into town, and we went to a football game at Philip's school! Later that night I went to Marisa's Annual Halloween Bash!

(Layla does have on white face paint in the picture! Haha!)

See what a mean! What a week full of Halloween fun!!
