Those Silly Brown Boys

We just love our silly Brown boys! They do keep us busy ALL day every day!

The laundry at our house is INSANE!

Someone always needs something whether it is a chocolate milk or a hug!

And we rarely get a quiet moment alone!

Yet still our life is so full and so much fun! We know this is a season of life, and we must appreciate the special time we have when these boys are little! One thing that keeps us smiling is the great sense of humor each of these boys have!

Even Lincoln's teacher early this week commented about his great sense of humor! Apparently he is the easiest baby in the class to make laugh!

The two big boys keep us and their teachers laughing all day! Owen has been cracking us up with his cackle laugh! He is also so funny and silly! He is always making goofy little comments and saying or doing funny things that have Philip and I asking, "Did he just say/do that?" The other day we were eating breakfast at Waffle House and of course Owen asked for our knife (it was a butter knife) and fork. All of a sudden we hear, "choo choo!" and he is,  with absolutely perfect timing and motion,  pushing his straw paper with the spoon and tapping with the knife EXACTLY LIKE AT THE JAPANESE PLACE! I mean... I really felt like I was there watching one of the chefs! Haha! We both just died laughing! Even this morning as he was looking for his new favorite book, The Stinky Cheese Man, he was walking around the house saying, "Where are you Stinky Cheese Man? I can smell you, I just can't see you!" Bahaha!

Almost daily Landon's teacher, Mrs. Burch, has a funny story to tell us about something hilarious that Landon said or did! We couldn't have matched Landon with a better teacher this year! She LOVES his creative, inquistive personality and finds ways to challenge him. This week she actually changed her plans for shared writing to do some kind of survey that Landon came up with that he wanted to do with the class. She appreciates his questions and goofy ideas and runs with them to make it a teachable moment! She posted this funny story about him on facebook this week that had us all laughing.

"Antic of the day: At lunch, I got a cup of mashed potatoes to hold me over until I could warm my lunch up. After I finished my potatoes, I placed my empty container and spoon on the tray of the student beside me. I get up to do something and when I come back, I see said student chowing down on his potatoes...with MY spoon! Me: Honey what are you doing?? Him: Eating my potatoes! He says this with a huge smile on his face. Me: Is that my spoon?! Him: *as he's giggling* Yeah! Me: GIVE ME THAT!!! Honey you have to use your fork OK? Him: *said matter-of-factly* But it's so much easier with a spoon. Me: I know, but next time you have to get your own OK? I love you too, but you have to use your own spoon OK? Him: *in a giggle* OK! KMSL! As all this is transpiring, all I am thinking is "What am I going to tell his mom?! OMG! I HAVE to tell his mom! OMG! HOW am I going to tell his mom?!" I was also thinking after the hysterics: He must be pretty comfortable with me to do that; although I don't want him to do that again lol! I saw mom at the end of the day and told her....she was cool with it. I started off by saying "I'm NOT sick!" LOL!!! Every time I think about it I have to shake my head! I LOVE THIS KID TO PIECES!

We sure love these funny boys!
