Jekyll Island Beach Trip

This week we ventured down to Jekyll Island for several days of surf and sand! Philip had an Educational Leadership conference, and the whole family tagged along. BB also came to join in the fun and help me out with the boys while Philip was in sessions and at meetings. Overall, the conference is very family-friendly, with fireworks and various events. However, Philip still stays pretty busy!

Landon was so proud of his fruity drink and sunglasses and asked me to take pictures of him (I'm sure I don't need to say this, but I will...of course it was non-alcoholic!)

The boys probably loved hanging out at the hotel the best! They love swimming in the pool and playing at the beach! They had fun looking for shells and using their new boogie boards.

We also had a wonderful evening in St. Simon’s eating at Barbara Jeans, walking on the pier and to the lighthouse, and dancing to the band playing in the park! My favorite was when Landon told Owen, “Owie, let’s go dance and show them our moves!”

One morning we visited the Sea Turtle Center, where we got to see them feed the turtles and complete a surgery. It was pretty amazing!

We had a wonderful vacation and loved getting to spend time with BB at the beach!
