Our little Lincoln turned 1 month old on April 5th!
At his 1 month appointment today (4/14) he weighed 12 pounds and was 21 3/4 inches long. These
measurements put him in the 88% for weight and 44% for height! He is a big boy who loves to eat! Dr. McCorkle was very happy with his growth. The only issue we discussed is that he
has been experiencing some reflux lately and often chokes because of it. We decided to just wait a month and keep an eye on him before we think about any kind of medicine since it is not making him inconsolably fussy.
Lincoln still pretty much only sleeps, eats, and has
short awake periods. He loves to snuggle, and especially loves his mommy! He
can hold up his head for a pretty long while and has rolled over a couple of
times during tummy time.
He is a decent sleeper at night and usually has a
4-5 hour period beginning at 8, then wakes up every 3 hours. He almost always
falls asleep though after eating, so no complaining here!
We sure do love our Lincoln! He has added so much
joy and love to our little family!
