Popsy and Lolo came up to celebrate Christmas and New Years with us! We had a blast together and squeezed in tons of fun in just a few days! We met them in Madison for lunch and enjoyed the delicious food, beautiful weather (finally!), and charming city. Then headed back to the house for a Christmas morning reenactment!
The boys loved all their presents, especially their remote control construction trucks!
On New Years Eve, Mom and I started the morning with pedicures! So nice! When we got back Dad and Popsy headed out for some boy shopping and exploring (REI, etc.). After the little boys woke up from naps, we took them to the movies!
We just hung out at home for New Year's Eve. Dad had a big pot of gumbo cooked, and our neighbors came over! We talked and played, then went outside around 8 for poppers, noisemakers, silly string, and some simple fire works! We counted down to the new year at 8:30 and were all asleep by 10! Haha!
On Friday, we tried to venture into Atl. to see Dad and Emily dive at the Atlanta aquarium. With another rainy day, the aquarium was SOLD OUT by the time we got there, and we ended up not being able to go! :( We were disappointed but hung around the hotel and played games until we were able to at least go to dinner with Popsy, Lolo, Em, and Hunter! We were glad for one last chance of time with them before it's back to the real world of work and school!!
We are looking forward to exciting things in 2015, and can't wait to welcome our sweet little Lincoln into the family! We know our lives will be filled with Lots of Laughs and Love (LOL!)
