Our Emmy moved to North Carolina last week. We were so sad
to have to say goodbye. We have truly been spoiled having her in Athens for the
past 5 years! She is so much fun to be around and brightens our days! I always loved calling her to meet up with us afterschool for dinner or to play, and she
was always up for anything and everything! She has helped us welcome our
babies, taken care of them when they are sick, and been our sounding board when
we needed to talk through an issue. We don’t know what we will do without her,
but we do know that we are SO proud of her for following her dreams and
choosing a career where she can make a difference in the lives of children who
are terminally ill. We love you Auntie Em!! And don’t worry… we will have new
adventures to come!! They just might involve a little driving…
We played at the park and ate pizza as a send off. We also got to see her a few extra times last week for church, lunch at Calintitos, and a weekday picnic in the park! We'll take any extra chance to see her that we can get!!!
