Torrance Institute and Week with Em

Two weeks ago I had the Torrance Institute at UGA. It was our first summer institute for the Torrance Center but it turned out to be quite a success! Hopefully it'll be an annual event! My friend/colleague, Meg Hines, and I taught a class called Facilitating Uncommon thinking in the Common Core. The class was awesome, and Meg and I had a blast teaching together! Our students had great things to say about the course and called Meg and I "Hoda and Kathie Lee"! We taught in the afternoon, so I still tried to play with the boys in the morning. Emily babysat for us, and we loved having her around all week!
