Oh my goodness! Lately the boys having been doing things that have made me realize that they are not my little babies anymore but becoming big kids!
Owen is talking so much at home! In public he is pretty shy and clings to me mostly quietly, but at home he can communicate so well! He can tell us his needs and wants, and mimics so many things we say which is funny! I love it when he is very specific about what he wants like, "I'm thirsty." Then he can tell you exactly what he wants to drink. He cackle laughs at Landon all the time, and is starting to count and sing songs. He loves to "march" around the house and has the funniest dance he does where he falls to the ground and spins like a break dancer. We can also see his little creativity starting to come out in so many things he does! He LOVES to color and draw, and will sit forever with a marker or pen in hand!
Landon has been super thankful lately for every little thing. After literally everything we do, he says, "Thank you so much for taking us to ____. It was so much fun!" I'm not sure why exactly he started doing this. Hopefully it's because of some lesson we have taught him about thankfulness. Haha! But we are definitely encouraging it to continue. It really makes you want to do special things for the boys when you know it is appreciated. Another thing I noticed is his ability to do "big boy" things like push himself on the swings and play skee ball!
I sure love these two boys and can't believe how fast they grow!! TIME SLOW DOWN PLEASE!
