I think another reason I have been avoiding blogging is because my Paw Paw passed away in July. It is hard to put into words this experience, and how much our entire family is going to miss him. At the end of June, we took a family trip to Louisiana and were able to spend time with him and celebrate my Maw Maw's birthday. I will always cherish these special pictures of the last time we were together.

Emmy and I took many pictures of our grandparent's house so that we could always look back and remember this special place that holds so many memories. Sadly this beautiful home was destroyed in the Louisiana floods in August, making these photos even more special.
