The weather has been quite wishy washy lately! We had a
little bit of snow (and lots of rain) last week, and this week has been so nice
that I’m sitting outside on the porch writing this blog!
We have had lots of fun (mixed in with work) over the past
two weeks with tons of sporting events, playdates with friends, a trip to the
park, and hanging out together at home!
We finished reading the BFG, and the boys were SO cute about
it! They have just loved reading the BFG and look forward to it every night! On
Thursday night we got to the last chapter! The boys started getting upset and
said they did not want to read the last chapter because they didn’t want the
book to be over! Isn’t that the cutest thing! When we finished it
yesterday, Landon seriously started crying that we were finished! Luckily I had
already ordered Harry Potter on Amazon, so I told them all about our new book
and how much they were going to love it! J
Another cute story comes from last night at the basketball
game. We were eating our Chick fil A and Lincoln reached for Owen’s
apples. I said, “no! no! “ and explained to Owen that Lincoln couldn’t eat the
apples because they still had the peeling on them, and he would choke. How
sweet is it that a few minutes later I noticed that Owen had gnawed the peeling off
all the little apples in his bowl so Lincoln could eat them! Melt my heart!
