School has started back and boy are we busy!! Especially this week! In addition to working regular hours during the day, Philip had multiple parent nights and a couple sporting events. I taught my first class at UGA on Tuesday night and had curriculum night at school on Thursday. So we have started to have to get creative so we can spend more time together! What have we figured out?
Well, one thing is that Landon gets to go to lots of sporting events and school activities! But also we try to find a way on our busiest days to take time to see each other. On Thursday, we weren't going to be able to have dinner together, so we decided to meet up before both of our parent nights and have a picnic in Philip's office. :)
Landon loves playing in his Daddy's office! In fact, Philip has a stash of toys, diapers, etc. just in case! Landon's favorite thing in the office is this huge box of pens. He is obsessed with them! In fact, now he loves pens in general! If you are writing with a pen in front of Landon, he will try to grab your pen and write with it! Very cute. :)
So what's the lesson I have learned through all this... Sometimes even when we are stressed and just too busy, we can still make very special memories. I bet Landon will grow up with fond memories of after school sports and picnics in Daddy's office! :)
